Lawndale Elementary School District is proud to announce that Lawndale Elementary School District has been named a Model School Attendance Review Board (SARB) recipient for 2026 by the California Department of Education. We are 1 out of 13 school districts to receive the award!

Lawndale Elementary School District (LESD) welcomed families to learn more about the highly sought-after Dual Immersion program offered in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through eighth grade. The meetings took place at Billy Mitchell Elementary and Mark Twain Elementary, led by Iliana Cruz (ELIRT at Billy Mitchell) and Eugenia Miranda (ELIRT at Mark Twain).
