About Mark Twain PTA
The Mark Twain PTA (Parent Teachers Association) is an organization that delivers engaging and fun family events to the school, raises funds to support many enrichment activities for students, and helps families support their child’s education.
Our Vision:
The PTA at Mark Twain Elementary will strive to be a stable organization that leads in engaging with and meeting the needs of all families regardless of the leadership or school make-up.
2022-2023 Goals:
- Improve the awareness and activation of the PTA’s mission within our school community
- Expand student/family/teacher/staff engagement and support on virtual platforms
- Intentionally delivery on inclusivity for our diverse school community
- Improve leadership and member training, planning and organization
- Refresh traditional PTA programs and add new ideas
- Promote family and community togetherness
School of Excellence
Double honors were awarded to the Mark Twain Elementary PTA!
We are proud to be a National PTA School of Excellence for 2019-2021. In addition, we were honored with the 2019 Phoebe Apperson Hearst Outstanding Family-School Partnership Award. This award is National PTA’s highest honor given for effective family engagement
PTA General Association Meetings are open to the public. However, only paid Mark Twain PTA members are eligible to vote on any motions presented. Agendas will be made available prior to each meeting and will be posted here.
We welcome all parents, guardians, grandparents and interested parties to the meetings for discussion of school related topics.
